Hey man, I got a question.
Do you know if there’s a huge difference between the AKAI MPD 18 and the 24 or 26 model?
@Brank00 Well the mpd 18 only has a usb port while the 24 has a midi, the 24 has knobs, and…. I think the 24s pads are better, but i havent tried one. I would for sure go with the 24 if i had the choice…

@661king I use the nnxt.
OK. Download audacity, then put ur sample in it. Export each part you want (via export section) MAKE SURE IT IS A WAV. FILE! then go into nnxt and clear everything right click add a zone click on the zone add the sample and assign to the lower keys….. youll figure it out.

But its all prefrence. I have a freind who loves FL Studio but i hate it.
Download some demos and decide what you want most, its all preference.
how do you change the pitch of the sample on the mpd
@DJsorama throught the program. The mpd isnt a machine, its a controller. It just plays the notes the computer does all the work
