what exactly is the chopper composed of? i really like the effect it seems to have on your drums

The ‘chopper’ is just the stereo beat cutter. It can be found by going to ‘Audio Effects’->’Audio Effects Rack’->’ Performance and DJ’-> ‘Stereo Beat Cutter’
Just play around with it, its pretty darn neat
one more question i swear lol. what did you use to edit your vocal samples?

i’m not totally sure how i did it
i used katy perry’s ‘hot cold’ acapela or whatever
sounds like i chopped a few small segments out of the acapella, so that its just vocal melodies instead of words
i then spaced the samples out, reversing a few of them
sounds like i added a delay as well
you can reverse a sample, add delay (or reverb with lots of decay) the record that with ‘resample’
keep the resample track and reverse that
its a neat trick for a reverse delay effect
poser!
quit the cigarettes and start the weed again. it’ll help with the beats..lol

@adiamondonwings i write songs just fine without any drugs. don’t need any of that dumb shit i lose too many friends to that stuff. they all change and became totally unlikable. i don’t wanna end up that way for sure.
@twistedkatana1 i hear ya man i actually quit smoking weed a few weeks ago and i feel a lot more level headed…. but making music is definitely more natural and smooth stoned, just saying.
